Cardinal Langley GCSE Results 2016

It was another successful year for students at Cardinal Langley when they collected their GCSE results with an overall pass rate of 99.5% and 70% of students achieving five A* to C grades. Students achieved excellent results in a wide range of subjects with 100% achieving A* to C in Physical Education, ICT, Biology & BTEC Sport.

Mr Bridson, Headteacher, said, ‘Our students have once again done themselves proud and thoroughly deserve their excellent grades. All students have worked towards their own goals and this year 70% have achieved their targets while an impressive 37% have exceeded them. This is a real testament to the strength of our community and the mutual support between all staff and students. This year 73% of all grades were A* to C and is a reflection of the hard work and dedication of all members of our community. These results give students a solid foundation on which to start their post 16 courses and we are expecting a record number to enrol in the Sixth Form.’
