Cardinal Langley RC High School GCSE Results 2019


Teachers at Cardinal Langley are extremely proud of their students as they celebrate some fantastic GCSE exam results again this year.
Headteacher, Mr Bridson, said, “Our students have worked incredibly hard and thoroughly deserve their results. We are proud to have achieved success in a wide range of subjects and are particularly pleased with the increase in students achieving the highest grades.”

All of our students have their own success stories with Marylynn Michoke achieving seven grade 9s, three grade 8s and one grade 7. Marylynn said she was proud of her dedication and hard work and was delight with so many grade 9s.

Jude McNab achieved four grade 9s, a grade 8, four grade 7s and one grade 5. Jude will be returning to Cardinal Langley in September to study A level, Biology, History, English Literature and Psychology.

Nathan McGuinness achieved three grade 9s, a distinction, four grade 8s a grade 7 and a grade 6 whilst Frances Smith achieved two grade 9s, six grade 8s and three grade 7s. Frances was very happy with her results and plans to study Maths, Chemistry, Physics and Further Maths at A level.

Fraser McNab was extremely happy with his results of two grade 9s, six grade 8s and two grade 7s. He will be returning to Cardinal Langley to study Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry and Physics.

Margaret Aigbekaen was delighted with her results, “All the hard work and dedication pays off in the end!” She achieved a grade 9, four grade 8s, four grade 7s and a grade 6.

James Lloyd will also be returning to Cardinal Langley in September after achieving two grade 9s, two grade 8s, a grade 7 and four grade 6s. He said, “Huge thanks to all the teachers for their effort with me.”

Isabella Fletcher was delighted with her results – a grade 9, a distinction, a grade 8, two grade 7s a grade 6 and two grade 5s as was Joely Pearson with a distinction, two grade 8s and six grade 7s.

Daniel Haslam will return to Cardinal Langley in September to Cardinal Langley in September to study Physics, Maths, Computer Science and Chemistry and Tatiana Costa will also return to Cardinal Langley to study Business, Biology and Physics. She was very happy with her results, “When you think you can’t do it, go for it with all your heart.”

Molly Chesters, who achieved a grade 9, two grade 8s, four grade 7s and three grade 6s said, “the hard work and dedication eventually pays off.”

Ben Edelman was delighted with his results, a grade 8, four grade 7s and four grade 6s, and will return to Cardinal Langley to study Economics, Politics and Maths. Katie Fitzgerald will also return to Cardinal Langley Sixth form having achieved three grade 8s, five grade 7s and a grade 5 to study Biology, Chemistry, Psychology and Maths.

Bethany Gee achieved six grade 8s and four grade 7s, putting her results down to hard work and plenty of revision and Rebecca Newton achieved six grade 7s, three grade 6s and a grade 5, saying, “I am over the moon. The teachers at Cardinal Langley are amazing and so supportive.”

Samantha Thompson said she was very happy with achieving five grade 8s, two grade 7s and two grade 6s and she will return to Cardinal Langley to study A levels. Anna Bromfield, who achieved three grade 7s, two grade 6s, two grade 5s and two grade 4s was also delighted saying, “Revision lessons paid off!”
