A Level Results 2019

Students at Cardinal Langley Sixth Form have again excelled with a 100% pass rate at both A-level and vocational courses. Our results this year show that we continue to compete with the best. We are delighted that so many students have exceeded their expectations with our BTEC results placing us in the top 25% of schools in the country.

Mr Bridson, Headteacher, said, “We are proud of all of our students and their amazing results are a reflection of their hard work over the past two years. Our students thoroughly deserve their success and are looking forward to their next step, either at university or starting apprenticeships. Staff have worked tirelessly to prepare students and we are delighted with our 100% pass rate.”

Bethany Maddison achieving two Distinction* and a Merit said, “My experience at Cardinal Langley was constantly supportive and positive. It has set me up to begin my journey at Salford University studying film Production.”
Harry Bladen, who achieved an A, B and a Distinction, will be going to Edge Hill University to study Business Management. He said, “I am very grateful to Cardinal Langley and all the members of staff who have helped me, not only for my two years in Sixth Form, but for my seven years at Cardinal Langley.”
Sarah Wall, who will be studying Business Studies at Newcastle University, achieved an A* and two B grades. She said, “I am very happy with my results and I’m glad the hard work has paid off!”
Ciaran McMahon achieved an A*, an A and a B and will be following the apprenticeship route. He said, “Cardinal Langley Sixth Form is a huge step up from the High School experience. The staff expect so much more of students in terms of independence, initiative and personal responsibility. Cardinal Langley has helped me in developing from a school student into work place material.”
Neve Humphries, who achieved a B, C, Distinction and Distinction*, said, “Coming back to Cardinal Langley was the best decision I ever made. It’s helped me to achieve some amazing results to study Business with Law at my first choice university which is Manchester Met.”
Alex Sahami, who achieved an A* and three C grades, was delighted with his results, “I came to England three years ago, dreaming of pursuing a degree in healthcare. With the ongoing support of my teachers and staff, I was successful in securing my place at Aston University for the Pharmacy course.”
Rebecca Marson achieved an A and two B grades and is heading off to Leeds University to study History. She said, “I will be forever grateful for all the support.”
